Lee Angelo: Idon’t like asking for help, but I’m really struggling right now. I’m currently staying at the Hesed House Shelter( Phone: 630-897-2156) in Aurora, IL (Shelter ID #23290). My health has taken a serious downturn, and I had to resign from my job after only two months because of ongoing health problems(weakness and lightheadedness). I have no income, no vehicle, and just $42.66 in my bank account.
Despite multiple visits to the emergency room at Mercy Hospital—about 8–10 times over the past 12–14 months, and after seeing a neurologist, the conventional healthcare system hasn’t been able to identify the root cause of my symptoms( weakness & lightheadedness). Because of this, I’ve turned to a functional medicine doctor, Dr. Sallee at Aurora Functional Health(Phone: 630-214-1810) as I feel this may be my only remaining option. Unfortunately, Medicaid does not cover this type of treatment, so I’m trying to figure out how to pay for the care I need.
I’m humbly asking for any assistance you can offer— i need help buying a cheap used car to get back and forth for treatment, and i need help paying for the treatment itself. I’m truly grateful for anything you’re able to give. I’m trying to hold on to faith(God), but it’s difficult when you’re sick, broke, and when it feeld like life keeps knocking you down.
