Please consider helping my family during the most difficult time of our lives. My husband was seriously injured in a golf cart accident while we were on vacation. He suffered a traumatic brain injury and it has affected his memory. He spent 3 & ½ weeks in the hospital in Myrtle Beach then had to be medically transported by ambulance back to our home state of Virginia where he spent another two weeks in a rehab center. He is now home and continuing with therapy twice a week. We have both been out of work since mid August. The hardest part on us is that he did not have medical insurance at the time of the accident. We just received one bill that is $51,000 from the rehab center and we still have the bills from South Carolina to come. Plus all of his outpatient therapy that we have to pay at each visit. Right now we are trying to keep up with our regular monthly bills then we will have to figure out all the medical bills. The bills that I have already received are due immediately, so if you are willing to help we would so appreciate it. All funds raised will go directly towards the medical bill. He is supposed to stay calm to help his brain heal but right now he is stressing over these bills coming in and the fact that he hasn’t been cleared to go back to work.
