About this fundraiser

The last few months have been heavy for our family. Back in November, my aunt was diagnosed with cancer, and everything changed. Since then, she has been traveling six hours every two weeks just to reach the nearest chemotherapy center. Each trip meant hope, but it also meant long drives, hotel stays, missed work, and expenses that slowly added up.

Recently, her condition has taken a turn. She is now in the hospital receiving palliative care. We are no longer fighting for a cure. We are simply trying to keep her comfortable, pain-free, and surrounded by love.

I am not someone who usually asks for help. It’s hard for me to even write this. But our resources are exhausted. In two weeks, my mom and aunt will be traveling to the Philippines to be with her. Anyone who has traveled halfway across the world knows how expensive that journey can be. There is no healthcare coverage there, so every hospital bill, every medication, every day she remains comfortable is paid out of pocket.

To give you an idea, $20 covers her room for a day. $15 covers her pain medication for a day. Even the smallest donation truly makes a difference. It helps us focus less on bills and more on sitting beside her, holding her hand, and making sure she feels loved.

There is no life insurance, so we will also be responsible for funeral expenses when the time comes. That reality is painful to face, but it is part of this season we are walking through.

If you have read this far, thank you. Your prayers, your shares, your kindness, and any support you feel led to give mean more than I can explain. Please continue to keep our family in your thoughts. 💛
