Hi. My name is Christie and I am trying to raise funds for my mother.  She is young lady who requires a motorized wheelchair.  im young and have the same genetics so I can no longer financially afford items that cost this much.  She had a WC that is out of warranty and it is not time for medicaid to by another one.  Ive paid a few hundred dollars replacing batteries. I think when she gained alot of weight, it just said Im done.  She needs it so badly, she has to pull herself down the hall on the rails and moving the wheels are awkward for her.  Her shoulder has a torn rotator in three places and they want to do surgery.  Her independance and autonomy is all she has left. She likes to move around her facility and attend activities. No they dont not push her where she wants to go. And its so sad to see her try and get down those long halls. Im heartbroken and dealing with my own severe medical problems and can no longer work.  Please help my mom get another chair. Her spirits have been sinking latley and the jazzy motorized WC is the one she is used to. this would help her more than you know, having freedom to go to the porch with her friends and going to daily activities.  She would be able to get to the bathroom easier too. That in itself is a challenge with her mobility issues. I just want her to have a break from how difficult this has been on her.   Thank you for reading this and have a great day.
