Hi, I am coming to you on behalf of my co-worker Joey Kellum. Joey worked in our maintenance department. On July 2 of 2024 Joey suffered a stroke while at work and is completely paralyzed on his left side. He is 45 years old and has been married to his wife Nikki for 8 1/2  years. 

Joey and Nikki lost everything when Joey had this stroke because he lost his income. Nikki is working. However it is not enough to sustain them. 

For the past year and currently they have been struggling to pay by the day, week or month at the Motel 6 in Bremen Georgia, which they have called home for over a year. 

They struggle with food and rent. As you might imagine at $76/night it is hard to save money to get up enough for the first months rent and deposit on something they could possibly afford. They are truly living by the moment and one day at a time.

I am reaching out because I know in my heart Joey would never ask for help. He was a hard worker. 

Today, times are hard for many families that are healthy. I cannot imagine what he is facing not being able to provide for his family. 

Joey is also in need of a "wheelchair" van. They desperately need transportation.   I know times are hard for a lot of people right now. 

Joey and Nikki Kellum stand in need of housing and transportation. Not to mention food. 

Most of all they need your prayers.  Home health comes to the motel weekly. My main prayer is for transportation and a dwelling they can call home. I believe everything else would fall into place. 

Prayerfully, God will touch hearts and we can make this happen for them.
