Hey guys! For those that may not have seen our updates, they have discovered several lumps in my thyroid that do not look good. The University of Texas has taken my case and is still processing insurance and trying to get me on the schedule asap to get these lumps taken out. The University of Texas has also taken Brandon in for his issues with eating and will need to do a couple of small procedures to get everything figured out as to why he keeps getting sick when eating. I am not working in order to provide care for Brandon 24/7, as it is not safe to leave him alone due to him having two strokes and epilepsy. He averages around 3-5 seizures daily. 
 

Relief is coming soon, as medicaid has approved him for several benefits to help us manage life a lot easier. Unfortunately, these benefits are still being set up and will not begin until June 1st now. They were supposed to begin in May but paperwork has taken too long. 
 

I am writing to you and setting this fundraiser to help cover travel expense costs, as the University of Texas medical center is around 4 hours away from where we live and with my procedure and brandons procedure will have us staying in a hotel for a couple of days. This is to be 100% safe, as Brandon is unable to drive because of his seizures and I will need time for anesthesia to wear off after they remove my lumps. 
 

We understand that times are hard for everyone and our world is so full of trials for everyone. We are almost through the hardest part of our lives and relief will be here soon for us. We just ask for a little extra help until more help arrives.
