As much as I have postponed asking for help, I've come to the conclusion that I can't make it out of this one without some assistance. 

To keep things short & sweet, the past year I have been on medical leave from work- most of it unpaid. I was fortunate enough to have health insurance through my employer, however as my protected leave ended in Dec 2025, I lost my position and all benefits. 

It has now been 2 years that we have relied on my super-hero husband for nearly all financial needs while I attended appointments, imaging, labs and therapy ordered by my truly lovely medical team. What began as something our savings could cover, slowly turned into unmanageable costs.  

The good news: we have lots of options moving forward, including a surgery & medication trial for myself so I may return to work- in addition to potential spots at RN school for us both (pending decisions in June 2026) for Fall semester. 

Unfortunately, between: the cost of living, medical expenses, surprise vet appointments, car repairs, and some of Justin's own emergency dental visits, we have been left with virtually no savings and significant debt.

If this finds you at a time where you may be able to financially assist, I would please (respectfully) ask you to consider. 

Any amount would off-set further debt, late fees and eviction risk. 

I am sorry to make this request when the world already holds so many with dire need. If you've read this far, thank you for that as well. The generous moral support we receive daily has truly been keeping us going!
