On August 16th 2024, the SMNW community lost one of our own.  Ovet Gomez Regalado collapsed from heat stroke after football practice.    Ovet was only 15 years old.  His huge smile and warm hugs are so so missed.  The community came together for his family and helped cover his funeral/burial costs.  It was such a huge help in a time of great despair.  

I am reaching out to you all once again in hopes to raise enough funds for a memorial bench by his graveside.  His family go see him almost daily, and so many of his classmates from SMNW visit his as well.  What a tribute it would be to give them all a place to sit for a while and mourn such a huge loss.  

The cemetery has restrictions, so the bench must come from them.  It's beautiful.  I will post a picture and price list below so all can see what we are striving for.  

As always, I thank you and I know Ovet's family is so very grateful for all the love and help they have received thus far.   

Lets all come together for one last push to honor Ovet and allow him a place for his visitors to come a sit a while.
