I am no stranger to substance abuse treatment, however, I recognize that my underlying mental disorder has continued to contribute to my alcoholism. I want to treat the problem not the symptom. But, let’s face the facts - I’m not the well off girl I used to be and good treatment - not posh or luxury - but DBT, CBT, and a little EMDR - require deductibles and co-insurance. Anything anyone can do to help would be awesome - there is no shame or societal stigma in my mental health journey!!!!!
