On Sunday, February 8, 2026, Miguel “Raymon” Cardenas, age 58, of Montevideo, Minnesota, passed away surrounded by family.

Raymon was born on August 29, 1967, and was deeply loved by his children and grandchildren. He was known for his strong work ethic, his lighthearted personality, and his ability to make anybody laugh. Raymon never missed a moment with the people he loved—always recording family memories, whether through pictures or videos at gatherings and celebrations.

He is survived by his eight children: Miguel (Mariah) Cardenas, Karina (Adam) Eakes, Cesar (India) Cardenas, William Cardenas, Michael (Cassie) Fuentes, Monica Fuentes (Jose Sosa), David Fuentes, and Diego Fuentes.

He is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren: Eliot, Bianka, Sydney, Alonzo, Maiya, Ian, Miguel, Cesar, Eli, Jaxen, Eliana, Kairan, and Gabriel, who brought him endless joy.

Raymon will be remembered for the love he had for his family, the laughter he brought into every room, and the memories he made that will live on through those who loved him most

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses and to honor Raymon’s memory.
