I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO SCHEDULE MY TOP SURGERY!!!! Surgery date is Tuesday APRIL 15th, 2025!!

It's been over 2 years now that I've struggled to get approval and coverage from insurance for gender-affirming top surgery (ie. double mastectomy). Well, the time has finally come and I'm so excited to finally have an official surgery date!

Although my insurance is covering a good amount of the damage I will still be paying several thousand dollars for things like co-pays, travel & housing expenses (surgery is out-of-town), medications, medical compression vest, follow-up visits, etc. This is also all in addition to taking time off of my full-time job for 4 to 6 weeks, with only a handful of sick days and PTO.

The last time I tried to schedule a surgery date, I made an Amazon wish list of post-op items and was BLOWN AWAY that the entire list was purchased for me in a matter of days (which made both me and my therapist CRY, by the way). So, I am once again asking for help! This time in assisting with the financial cost.

There is an estimated total of a $3,000 co-pay due at the time of surgery. The goal of this fundraiser is to help make a dent in this payment. This will help tremendously as I can save additional money to better cover my time off of work, which in turn will make the healing process better and less stressful.

Any way you can lend a hand is extremely helpful and incredibly appreciated!! Every dollar, share, or even comment of encouragement would mean the world to me. I wish I had some neat talent like making cool art or something as personal thank-you's, but all I can offer is my humblest thanks and all of my gratitude. <3
