Hi. My name is Jessica Newton and I am asking for donations to help pay for the dental work needed before I start cancer treatments. The dentist has asked me to get the rest of my teeth removed, between 8-9 remaining teeth, so that we can start the process of getting dentures made before I start cancer treatment. I have recently been diagnosed with “cancer of the small intestine,” and I see the oncology department next Tuesday afternoon to see what exactly needs to be done with this kind of diagnosis. I have health insurance through the marketplace and the monthly premium is only about $0.50 but each time I see a specialist my copay is about $200. I’m currently on a leave of absence from work and they don’t provide any compensation for long term or short term disability benefits because I am no longer considered a full time employee. I’m asking for help and I know it’s a difficult time for many, but any help is greatly appreciated!! This amount of funds means that I can pay for the dental work that is needed and have enough to pay the cost of transportation to and from treatment and for a few bills that are due and I do have any clue how to accumulate the funds while unable to work. I’ve tried applying for loans and grants, but because of the inability to pay them back and my credit score, I continue to be denied. I have no support whatsoever from my family members and I can’t rely on them for any financial assistance whatsoever. I don’t want to be asking for help from others, but at this point, I don’t have another option. Please help me achieve this goal and help get me through the beginning of a long journey and fight for life!! Anything helps and I am grateful for anything donated or an advice given!!
