My daughter is 27 years-old now. She is profoundly-deaf. Some year ago, she moved in with someone, in Indiana. We lived in PA before she left, and still do. 

In 2019, I had a lumbar spine surgery that put me in a wheelchair. I was a cybersecurity consultant. I haven’t been able to work since then, and am on a fixed income.

My daughter is being mentally, and emotionally abused. He has told her that since he is the head of the household (though she pays the rent out of her meager disability-check), he can HIT HER whenever he wants. Sara is done with the abuse, and the other night begged me to help her move home.

In the first year  they were together, he made her stop taking depression medication. He demanded to sit in on her therapy sessions, and then made her stop therapy. Finally, she just stopped going. She is quite depressed, at this time, and needs to get into a safe-environment, and one where she can be herself.

I am angry. I am sad. I feel impotent because I am not able to have her out of there, yet. I need help. I need to arrange movers, transportation for my daughter, and funds to get her the help she needs.
