I am trying to raise money to help take some burden off my mom, Kathlene Boekelo  during her fight with cancer. My mom was diagnosed  with Inductal Carcinoma Breast Cancer in October 2023, she underwent a mastectomy in December 2023, on Her birthday July 23 2024 during a screening at the University of Iowa it was confirmed the her cancer had returned. She is now going threw testing to confirm whether or not the cancer has metastasize  her bones or other areas of her body. If it is confirmed to still be localized to only the breast,  she will have the cancer removed again and also a mastectomy on the remaining breast. If cancer has metastasized she will then explore options, to include immunotherapy treatment. My mom has given her entire life career as a Registered Nurse and has taken care of the ill, injured and dying, She was always the first one to help some one  any way she could, including financially, while raising 4 children, and being financially responsible  for burying 2 of them as  adult  children. After retiring from nursing, she is left living as a widow on a limited social security income. as you can imahine batteling cancer is not easy or cheap, My mom kow has increased medical bills, copays, medications, treatments and travel expense, so any little bit wil help & be greatly appreciatef.  If she has touched your life or that of some one you know or loved, and even if she hasnt, please share. pray. donate, do whatever you can to help her out.
