Charlie was found in eastern Manitoba by a swet lady who noticed a new little ginger baby coming around her property. She provided water, a shelter, and plenty of food. Charlie was not feral but very scared of humans. 
Clearly one of his ears was falling off due to sever frost bite. 
This sweet baby knew Charlie deserved better. She made a FB post asking if anyone knew this sweetheart. 
Something inside told me this was the cat I was meant to rescue. 
It took many weeks and a urgency to trap him because cold weather was on its way once again and predictors had been spotted in the last couple days 

Finally we got him! What a glorious day for us but more so for Charlie!! He was safe finally 

I quickly had him at the vet for a wellness check. He has lost both ears to frost and the his paw pads are all black from frost bite but the worst is his tail. About 4 inches is dead and is infected. He’s on antibiotics, pain medication. Charlie will need a surgery to have his tail removed.
