I am a single mother trying to raise 2 kids completely on my own. Their father passed away 9 years ago from a brain tumor & we don't have family due to some serious personal reasons. We were forced to move from our last home in January because they didn't want to fix the many code violations & the move was so last minute I wasn't prepared financially but with assistance we made it happen. 1 week after we moved into our home my engine went out & the car was repossessed because I couldn't afford to fix it or no longer make payments. I have been working maybe 1 day a week or no days a week as I do not have transportation to get to & from work because public buses stop running at a certain time. I also have many health problems & so do my kids that require a lot of monthly visits to doctor appointments that I am not able to get my kids or myself to. We're already falling behind on our bills & our health because we do not have a way to get to where we need to. We can't even make it to the store to get food. I just want to be able to make it to work to take care of my kids before we lose everything & end up homeless because I can't afford to pay the bills if I'm not working. I hate asking for help but at this point I'm desperate & it's affecting my mental health & our lives in every way. Please help in any way you can. Thank you so much!
