On Sunday(9/15/24), John was out riding his Harley and went through a commercial soybean oil spill that could not have been avoided. As a result of the slick oil spill, John laid down his bike and happened to hit his head twice… on the concrete AND on railroad tracks. Thank goodness he’s hard headed ;-) Just kidding… he’s my brother, I can say that :-) 

John was kept overnight at OSF in Peoria for observation and many tests as he had a brain bleed that they were monitoring. Thank goodness it had stopped by the time he was released however he isn't able to place weight on his left leg, although it isn’t broke. It’s assumed that the bike landed on his leg but unfortunately, John doesn’t remember a lot about the accident. He will need to undergo physical therapy to be able to walk with a walker while making his leg weight bearing. 
 

Due to this accident at no fault of his, John will be out of work approximately 8 weeks, if not longer. Being in the automobile industry, that time will be unpaid and he will not have any income coming in but yet, the bills continue to arrive. 

I created this giving hand site to assist John during this difficult time! I would love for him to be able to keep his attention on recovery versus financial stress. If you feel so inclined to help him out, please know any amount will be a blessing for him!!!
