Hand Up Partners is led by Dave Costarella, a hero and a saint for his work with Lancaster’s homeless population. He keeps them fed and warm over the winter. His Hand Up Partners organization has created jobs and given many a pathway to self- sufficiency. His Silent Partners initiative keeps several families from losing their homes each year. Through his work, Dave is not only improving lives, he’s showing that homeless people are people like you and I, they are part of our community, and they are worthy of compassion and support like anyone else.

To continue their work, Dave and Hand Up Partners needs help. They need money to buy the food and clothing Dave hands out. They need funds to meet payroll for the homeless who walk from all across the city for the chance to work for Hand Up Partners.

“All I Want For Christmas Is You” is the Fulginiti Family Band’s 8th annual holiday single, released as a fundraiser for Dave and his work in the Lancaster community. All donations and proceeds will be given to Dave through Hand Up Partners. With almost no overhead, Dave is able to apply nearly every cent of every donation directly to those in need.
 

“All I Want For Christmas Is You” is not what you might expect. Years before Mariah Carey recorded her Christmas anthem, country singer Buck Owens released a completely different song by the same name. It’s Owen’s version the Fulginiti’s are covering, with a dose of Carey’s hit included as an accordian solo.

The Fulginiti Family Band is Todd Fulginiti (trumpet, percussion, arrangement), Bailey Fulginiti (vocals, vocal arrangement), Ally Fulginiti (vocals) Tom Herr (bass, guitar), and this year we convinced Tammy Fulginiti to play flute. Lars Potteiger is our special guest accordian player on this track, which features a lead vocal by Ally.
