Dear friends, 

Despite numerous surgeries and treatments following a rectal cancer diagnosis in February 2023, the cancer has spread to my lungs and into the fatty tissues surrounding the tumor, making it stage 4 cancer.

This year has been one of the hardest years of my life, and your messages and support have helped tremendously.

I'm pursuing a round of egg harvesting to preserve my fertility options, and then I'll undergo three months of chemotherapy, and possibly radiation, which may leave me unable to bear children.

Despite insurance coverage, my savings, 401k, and IRAs are drained. I struggle to cover basic living and medical expenses.
