Our beloved minister, teacher, mentor and all-around champion of goodness, Katie Alexander, needs our help! As you all know, it's been a devastating few years for the Alexander family. After the loss of Jerry and a horrendous car accident, Katie was diagnosed with cancer and fought hard last year. She received news this week the cancer is back. The official diagnosis is Squamous Cell carcinoma of the mouth that has spread to her lymph nodes. She is having surgery to remove the tumor which has spread to a 2.5 then she will begin chemo and radiation. Her insurance is not covering much and since she has been unable to work, needs our help to help cover medical bills. Katie has taught, baptized, married, and blessed most in the Aledo and Ft. Worth communities and has never asked for anything in return. Lets come together and help her through this difficult time.
