Introducing Peyton Rayne Shaffer representing Florida's Nature Coast.  Rayne impressed the entire CLI Conservatory team with her application, interviews and auditions. Not only has she been selected for the 2025-2026 CLI Conservatory class, she was also awarded a $2,500 scholarship.

Rayne is an intelligent, dedicated, hard worker who graduated with honors from West Port High School where she was part of the Marion County Center for the Arts. She has been a competitive dancer winning many titles, awards and even Dancer of the Year. She strives for excellence not only in dancing, but also choreography, where she has received the highest of accolades.

This dance season Rayne has not only been keeping up with her dance training and conditioning, she also attended the Embody Dance Conference in Orlando, performed with Art in Motion at Fine Arts for Ocala, tap danced in the Crystal River Christmas Parade and performed at the Valerie Theatre in Inverness as Margaret “Marmee” March in the Little Women Ballet.  She did all of this in addition to her full-time job at Cypress Care Center with a positive attitude and a giving heart.

Even with the CLI scholarship the conservatory is still very expensive and she doesn't quality for financial aid as it is a 10-month dance conservatory and not a traditional two-year college.  Rayne has already save/applied $12,600, plus the $2,500 scholarship, which if paid by May 1st, 2025 receives an addition discount for a balance of $7,650 for her tuition.  There is a second opportunity to receive a smaller discount if paid in full by August 1st, 2025 for $8,774.00.  Her room and board is an additional minimum of $7,500, which is also subject to the same discounts if paid in full or bi-monthly payments will start September 1st, 2025.

To help offset the cost, we are asking for dance patrons to please help Rayne so that she can concentrate on her conservatory classes as CLI doesn't recommend holding a part-time job. As a parent it is hard to see someone who is such a hard worker struggle with finances and not be able to help with all of the costs.
