About this fundraiser

This fundraiser isn’t just for me—it’s for someone I once trusted and still care deeply about.

Some time ago, I agreed to take out a car loan in my name so this person could have reliable transportation. They needed it to find work and rebuild their life, and I wanted to help. The understanding was that they would be fully responsible for the payments. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned. They’ve struggled to follow through, and I’ve been left with the full burden—$27,000 in debt for a car I’ve never driven.

I’m hurting—emotionally, physically, and financially. I sleep on the floor on a broken bed, and the pain makes rest difficult. Groceries are hard to afford. I wish I could see a doctor, but I simply can’t afford it right now. Sadly, these are merely glimpses of the things I go through everyday.

Still, I believe this person is hurting too. I don’t think they set out to cause harm. I believe they’re lost, overwhelmed, or simply doing the best they know how.

This fundraiser is about freeing both of us from this weight. I’m asking for help—not just for myself, but to bring peace and mercy into a situation that has taken so much from us both. I believe people can change. I believe healing is possible. And I still believe love, even when it’s been tested, is worth something.

If you feel moved to give, know that you're helping more than one person. You're offering both of us a step toward freedom. And if you can’t give, that’s okay—a kind word or prayer means just as much.
