This fundraiser is for me to get treatment after an amputation on January 4 of 2024. Surgery went well but at the follow up the surgeon’s PA removed all sutures, but did not remove the pin holding my hand together because he said there was no documentation that a pin was present. The pin was obviously there because he removed sutures from around said pin. It has been a year and 25 days since surgery and I continue to have daily drainage of pus which has been cultured as stapg and MRSA. I now have osteomyelitis in the index finger and ring finger, which is also spreading to the pinky. After seeing an infectious disease doctor, he stated I needed 3 to 6 months of at home. I’ll be anabiotic therapy and have a port placed in my chest, but unfortunately, I have lost my insurance. I am seeking to raise money to hopefully see a doctor and have my hand cleaned in an attempt to save my remaining fingers. if you’re unable to help financially, I am also in need of prayers.
