EspañolOn August 14th, our dear friend Chuck received the difficult news of a Stage 2 non-seminoma testicular cancer diagnosis. For those of you who know Chuck, you know he’s a private person, and it’s a sign of his immense strength that he has allowed us to share this with our community.
While his prognosis is positive, the path to recovery is long, and he is far from being out of the woods—though he’d much rather be in them, as any of you who have spent time with him in his favorite place know.
This journey comes with significant financial burdens, from everyday costs to mounting medical and transportation expenses for appointments. Initially, his pride made it hard to ask for help, but with his permission, we are now reaching out.
Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a tangible difference by allowing Chuck to focus on his health and healing instead of financial stress. The good, the bad, and some ugly
***TRIGGER WARNING -POST OP PHOTO ***On October 6th our dude had the big surgery to remove the rest of the cancer. The surgey went well, but also exposed a new cancer that had spead in his abdomen. Waiting for pathology to come back to know exactly what we are up against. Although the surgeon is confident he got any bit that was visible, a new round of chemotherapy will be on the schedule. With the help of all you amazing souls, Chuck has been able to keep his mind in a positive place. Healing being his main focus. Unfortunately, funds will be an issue sooner than later. As always anything is appreciated if even just a share of this fundraiser. Hes a light we all need in this world. Let's help keep his fire burning🔥 will post update after post op in a few weeks.
