  • New Year, New Problems 🙄

Our friend Chuck has been hit with some tough news. After finishing a grueling round of chemotherapy, a recent scan showed the tumor only shrunk by 12%. Even more challenging, doctors discovered the diagnosis is not the initially suspected carcinoma, but a rare form of cancer called a Teratoma.
Because of this, Chuck requires specialized care and treatment. As of December, the plan is a follow-up in February with a specialized team in Pittsburgh. If surgery is recommended, we are facing an incredibly intricate, high-risk procedure in Indiana, with the only specialist within a 3-state radius able to perform it.
Chuck is doing everything he can to keep a positive outlook, but the road ahead is dark and financially daunting. He needs our combined help to navigate this fight. Anything you can give—big or small—will go directly toward his medical expenses and care. If you cannot donate, a share is always free and helps tremendously.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting Chuck.😊

About this fundraiser

On August 14th, our dear friend Chuck received the difficult news of a Stage 2 non-seminoma testicular cancer diagnosis. For those of you who know Chuck, you know he’s a private person, and it’s a sign of his immense strength that he has allowed us to share this with our community.
While his prognosis is positive, the path to recovery is long, and he is far from being out of the woods—though he’d much rather be in them, as any of you who have spent time with him in his favorite place know.
This journey comes with significant financial burdens, from everyday costs to mounting medical and transportation expenses for appointments. Initially, his pride made it hard to ask for help, but with his permission, we are now reaching out.
Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a tangible difference by allowing Chuck to focus on his health and healing instead of financial stress. If you're unable to donate, we would be incredibly grateful if you would share this fundraiser with your network. Thank you for standing with Chuck in his time of need.
