About this fundraiser

My husband is the most selfless,  giving person I've ever met. We were married April 21st after a 13 year engagement, the happiest 13 years of my life. He was diagnosed with congestive heart failure with 10% heart function. We had a spur of the moment wedding with family. No frills, just love. I needed him to know for sure I'd be here for him always  He gives to friends and strangers alike. Prior to coming by life flight  to Mayo for a heart transplant, Sean was one of the hardest working people known around our small town. Always lending a hand to anyone who needed it. He worked for himself as an electrician and a/c installer.  I am a retired special education teacher.  Now, he is unemployed and I can't go to work as he requires a 24 hour caregiver. Best job ever! Just doesn't pay. We are asking for funding for bills at our home in Port St. Joe, bills here in Jax,  lodging in Jacksonville,  medical expenses,  food, clothing (we can't go home for at least 3 months), etc. I know there are many of these requests out there. Whether you know us, have been through this process or able to give any amount,  we would be so very grateful.  Times are tough. Our faith, friends and family keep us going. God Bless.
