Hello, I am here asking for some help for Michael's Funeral Service. He passed away on April 6th, 2025, at the U of M hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He battled this rare bone marrow cancer from a mutant gene that he had in his body since 2020. He went through one bone marrow transplant in 2020, and that lasted 3 years. Then he relapsed this time and he did 99 rounds of chemotherapy.

He was then admitted on March 31st, 2025, to the U of M hospital where they started 2 rounds of chemotherapy there. We had planned to do another transplant until things went south in the other direction. His kidneys stopped working, then his liver was next, and then his heart. They said the cancer had gotten so aggressive within just a couple of days and caused all of these problems. Michael was a veteran; he served 21 years in the Navy.

He was a great person, always there for people, and always put others before himself no matter what. His humor was my favorite part of him, along with his kind heart and kind words! He's going to be missed very much by me and everyone else who loved him!
