Support Husband's Recovery After Severe Accident

My husband was on his way to work, driving a scooter like he does every day, and was struck by an SUV at 45 mph, and thrown across the intersection into the opposite side. He is in ICU with a broken femur and both ulna and radius with a compound fracture. He also has bleeding on the brain.

He was working over 80 hours every 2 weeks and now is out of work until further notice. I'm the only one there for him in the hospital every day and have to get an Uber to go back and forth to my house to take care of kids and dog. It's become quite pricey given that he's out of work.

Anything that you can spare will help with bills and rides back and forth and anything else he may need until he gets back on his feet. We are thankful that he is alive but this is emotionally taking a toll on our family. We appreciate any donations and support. Your donations will get us through the next few months until we can get things rolling and back on our feet.

we are calling an attorney tomorrow to see what we can do about the person that hit my husband. something has to be done about motor vehicle drivers and the lack of respect they have for scooters, motorcycles, mopeds. it's time someone became an advocate to try to do something about it and I wanna be one of those advocates. So that no other family has to deal with devastation/loss over this!! If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything.
