Our beloved friend Kalei is currently hospitalized on Oʻahu at Straub Hospital where she is undergoing emergency open-heart surgery to remove a large mass on her heart. This sudden and life-threatening situation has come as a shock to everyone who loves and cares for her.

Kalei is a private therapist who has dedicated her life to helping others navigate pain, healing, and personal growth. Every day she shows up for people who are struggling, offering compassion, guidance, and support. Those who know her personally know that she is incredibly kind, independent, and hardworking. She is someone who consistently puts the needs of others before her own.

Outside of her work, Kalei is a devoted mother and a loving grandmother who treasures her family deeply. She is also a loyal and supportive friend — the kind of person who listens without judgment, stands by the people she loves, and quietly helps others through their hardest moments.

Now Kalei is facing one of the most difficult challenges of her life.

Her emergency surgery is only the first step in what will be a long road to recovery. In the coming weeks and months, Kalei will need time to heal and regain her strength.
