I’m asking for support during a major life transition for me and my 9-year-old daughter. After recently going through a divorce, I am now a single mom doing my best to rebuild and create a stable, healthy future for us.

I recently graduated from college and became a licensed massage therapist, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come. However, living in Las Vegas on a single income has become overwhelming. My current housing is simply too expensive to maintain on my own, and without any family here, I don’t have a support system or access to reliable childcare.

This move to Virginia is about more than just relocating—it’s about finally having support. I have family there, including my granddaughter who is turning 3 years old and whom I’ve only been able to see twice. Being closer to loved ones will give me the emotional support, stability, and help with childcare that I currently don’t have, and it will allow me to build a better life for both me and my daughter.

The funds raised will go directly toward essential moving expenses, including transportation, travel costs, securing safe and affordable housing, and basic necessities to get us settled. Every dollar will help make this transition smoother and less stressful during a time that is already very challenging.

I am hoping to make this move as soon as possible, as my current situation is not sustainable long-term. Having support now would make a critical difference in helping us relocate safely and start fresh without falling further behind financially.
