Hello everyone, I hope you all are ok with my family and I staying anonymous. This is not one of my proudest moments, but I’m just that determined to do whatever it takes to keep a roof with lights and gas over my three kids heads. I have two boys 15 and 7 and one young lady 13.  I started this fundraiser because my family and I are at risk of eviction and need help paying rent and utilities down. My husband and I both have good paying jobs but recently fell behind due to my husband being ill and needing surgery. He has been off work since Dec.26 with no pay because the doctor that handle his care half filled out the fmla paperwork and then retired. He didn‘t send out a notice, call or email about this retirement. Because of this it has delayed my husband paperwork, his disability check and his return date to work which was 1/19. This situation has caused sooo much stress on me. We just moved here in July 2025, in our first house. Before this my family and I stayed in a mouse infested townhouse it was small and my youngest had no space of his own.  It felt good to get my kids out of that situation. I prayed for it everyday just like I’m praying now I don’t want to have to take this away from them. It would be a blessing to receive help of any kind. I’ve been trying every rental assistance, catholic church, township I‘ve came in contact with and they all say the same thing “there’s no funds left for oak lawn.” This is my last resort I pray you can find it in your heart to help us get back on our feet. I have proof of everything I just said.
