Hello! I’m Glenda, but I go by Gigi. Straight to the meat and potatoes. I never thought I had for myself. I need to retain a lawyer for spousal support. I never knew retaining a lawyer would be so much. Yes, I asked about attorney fees and was told by several lawyers you have to retain one then file. I reached out to over 80 lawyers this week alone. My goodness. That’s what I said!  It should not be a hassle for support when you support spouses career over 10yrs. Leading to divorce and financially struggling. Hearing has been continued twice. Now waiting for the next one and praying to retain this lawyer and get my life back on track. I can’t do it alone. It should be against the law how expensive it is here in California. Originally, I'm from Virginia and married a sailor, hence why I’m here in California, and it’s challenging. I believe in paying it forward and helping others through your own struggles.
