Hi guys, Robert had a heart attack on Thursday (10/09) and they found pneumonia too. Since then he’s been put on a ventilator to try and help his lungs heal. But now he’s having liver and kidney issues too. They’re saying he’s in shock, and that it might be septic shock. That’s what they’re treating him for now; septic shock and pneumonia.

It’s not looking great but they still sound hopeful. 
 

If you know Robert you know he’s struggled with his health for some years being a two time transplant survivor. He’s struggled more than ever recently it seems, having been hospitalized 3+ times in the last year. 
 

This time seems to be a little different, we think he tried to do too much after getting out of the hospital this last time. When he gets through this he will need to be able to rest. But if you know our dad you know he WORKS and how hard. He doesn’t do well not making ends meet. 
 

The goal of this fundraiser is to be able to give him the time he needs to heal without the stress of surviving also. 
 

We all know how tight times are for most of us and we wanted to thank everyone in advance for anything you can do to help us give our dad the peace of mind and time he needs to get better for all of his family that still needs him. 
 

This goal amount will cover about 2 months of Robert’s household expenses and most of the copay from the ambulance ride/hospital stay.
