Help Me March in the Rose Bowl Parade

I am raising funds to support my participation with Queer Big Apple Corps, an LGBTQIA+ marching band based in New York City that I have been a member of for many years.

In January 2027, our band, as part of the Pride Band Alliance, will join many other LGBTQIA+ marching bands from across the country to march in unison in the Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena, California on January 1, 2027. This invitation represents the first time an LGBTQIA+ marching band collective has participated in the Rose Bowl Parade.

Queer Big Apple Corps represents inclusion, visibility, and artistic excellence within the LGBTQIA+ community. Participating in the Rose Bowl Parade is a meaningful opportunity to represent our community on one of the most widely viewed public stages in the country.

Participation requires individual members to cover our own costs, which include travel to California and lodging. I am seeking financial support to help offset these costs and allow me to take part in this historic event.
