Hi everybody first off I want to say thank you for looking at this post. My friend Sandy has got breast cancer, tumors on her brain and it is now shutting down vital organs. She is in the hospital right now and they were planning on trying 3 days of radiation starting today but then was told her SSDI coverage which is Medicade won’t cover the cost because they consider it to be “ experimental “ since it’s so far advanced. She took the news better then most people and she accepted that but is now concerned about the family that she is staying with in town ( she lives in a rural area) but needs to stay in town closer to the hospital. She is worried about the financial strain it will cause since the family themselves have 3 small children. I’m asking for help to cover some of the expenses they will have added on by taking her in. This family is NOT in anyway asking or saying she needs to help out. Sandy is just a great person who has already lost her husband and son and basically has come to terms with her situation. Anything you could spare would be appreciated because it all adds up. Thank you and please send Sandy positive thoughts and prayers.
