Alden Villa is an enchanting estate, nestled amidst five acres of scenic beauty and the heart of Lebanon Pennsylvania. 
 Built in 1881 as a wedding present from Anne Coleman Alden, a member of Lebanon County‘s esteemed Coleman family, to her son, Robert Percy Alden, and his bride, Mary Ida Warren, the estate was an extravagant gift far beyond the ordinary. 

Nestled on what was once 520 acres of pristine land in the rolling Hills of Cornwall, Pennsylvania, Alden Villa’s grandeur was brought to life by famed architect Stanford White. Known for his Gilded Age masterpieces, White designed Alden Villa with meticulous attention to detail. His creation remains one of the few early designs he completed and his only architectural work in Pennsylvania. 

Alden Villa has been reborn through a bold restoration project that restored its former beauty after decades of abandonment, vandalism, and the threat of demolition. The owner, Harvey Turner, has brought light and life back into the historic mansion with endless amounts of “blood, sweat, and tears“. As one can imagine, there has been an immense amount of labor and money invested to bring Alden Villa mansion back to life. The property offers a venue for weddings, events, and a coffee cafe to name a few of the services that the mansion offers. 
 

Unfortunately, the owner, Harvey Turner, has been met with friction early on in his endeavor. For some reason, unbeknownst to most, some of the neighbors to the property have not been cheerful in Harvey’s vision. 
I really don’t understand not encouraging something of this nature; restoring a symbol of history and romance, and being happy for people‘s success. 🤷🏼‍♀️😣 

Those in opposition have taken legal action against Mr. Turner and have now made the operation of the mansion an unenjoyable challenge. I would like the community to come together and help Harvey with this fight.
