Hello everyone, my name is Nikol and I come from the Czech Republic. I moved to Colorado more than two years ago and worked as an au pair and then got married here. Last week, my country and my hometown (Ostrava) were hit by a major flood. Of the places I personally know and have an emotional attachment to is my church where I grew up in a family of God that taught me about God and when I was older I was given the opportunity to teach younger children about God too in the same place where I gave my life to Him. Although I no longer live in the Czech Republic, I am saddened and hear by what is happening there and what people - my friends and family - have to go through. I am sorry that I cannot be there at the moment and I cannot help them personally, but that does not mean that I cannot help both prayerfully and financially. Please help me save my chur . It's a small house where we met every Sunday and worshipped God. The second floor is house for one family who takes care of that house momentarily they are stuck in the house and can’t leave they are d their best to save as much as they can. We still don't know how big the damage is and will be. But the basement where the place for kids was.  was completely under water so it will be necessary to recreate a place where children will learn about God. The water got up to the first floor destroyed the floors walls and even the windows outdoor space frame is still not yet know because the water is still standing.
