Through the Coe College May Term, I have the incredible opportunity to travel to Scandinavia to study the concept of happiness across different cultures. Our program will explore what makes countries like Denmark, Sweden, and Norway some of the happiest in the world, from their strong sense of community and work-life balance, to their connection with nature and overall well-being.

Throughout the trip, we’ll be visiting major cities, small country towns, and breathtaking natural landscapes, learning directly from locals and observing how environment, culture, and lifestyle shape happiness. This experience will not only deepen my understanding of global perspectives but also help me bring those lessons back home to inspire positive change in my own community.
