For my Eagle Scout project, I will be creating a sensory garden for my middle school (J. Michael Lunsford). The garden is designed to be a calming and interactive for special needs students at the school. The funds will be used to buy plants, decorative elements, and tools used to create the garden. My project date is tentatively set for late June/early July - I will need the funds before then. This support will mean the world to me because my middle school does so much for the students and the community, but they don't have the resources for extra additions like a sensory garden. I want to take this opportunity to give back to my school and show my appreciation. In addition, I am one of the first girls working towards the rank of Eagle in my community - your funds will help to break barriers in Scouting.
