You may know Shawn Fleming, NRCS Resource Conservationist from Team 11 in Pottawatomie County. He thoroughly enjoyed his job and made a positive impact on our customers and his coworkers. NRCS deeply valued Shawn’s work and friendship.
Many of us are devastated by the loss of Shawn, but his family most of all. They were not prepared for the sudden loss of their father, husband, brother, son, and friend.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations made in Shawn’s memory to Tecumseh FFA and/or the Pottawatomie County Junior Livestock Show Scholarship Fund.

1yr agoDear Fleming Family- My heart aches for you during this time of loss. Although Shawn and I hadn't kept up with each other as of late, getting to work with Shawn nearly 30 years ago in Muskogee gave me some of my best memories of my career. His energy, enthusiasm and willingness to do whatever needed to be done with a smile on his face was encouraging for me as a new supervisor. My condolences, thoughts and prayers are with you all.
