I am reaching out to any and all who can help even with a dollar donation. My long time friend (sister like friend) who has diabetes had a small sore on her foot on January 31st, 2025. She went to the doctor and was given antibiotics and told to follow up with foot doctor, which she did.   On February 25, 2025 she was rushed to the hospital Emergency Room and by morning they had amputated her left leg just below the knee. This was totally unexpected for her and her husband. Her husband just fought and went through treatment for cancer not even 6 months ago. Between cancer and now the amputation of Mary’s left leg this has left them in a financial hardship.  The medical bills alone have reached an astronomical amount not to mention just “normal” living expenses. Mary is going to need special medical equipment to assist In her daily life and in the future hopefully a prosthetic leg.  Her husband Ron and her grown children are doing what they can with what they have but they need help!  Please if you can help this family in desperate need do so. We are all living in tough times but this family can really use a hand up and any donation even a dollar will go to help them with medical costs and daily living expenses.
