I am starting this fundraiser because honestly I need help. I was in a very bad bicycle accident last October which broke several bones in my leg. I have had three surgeries and am currently in a rehab facility waiting to get out within the next few months. Since I have not been able to work, I have exhausted all of my savings. 

Prior to the accident I was staying at an Airbnb and working two jobs to save up and get back into my own apartment. Everything was going well until the accident. I have 2 cats and the person who owns the Airbnb is charging me cat rent, which I unfortunately can no longer afford since my paid leave has been exhausted. He has threatened taking my cats to the pound and throwing my belongings in the garbage. 

All I am asking for is a donation, no matter what size, so I can get my cats out of there and put what little things I have there in storage where all of my possessions currently reside.

I have every intention of going back to work, but I have another month of rehab before I can return. I do not want to lose everything I hold near and dear in the interim. I know that there are many people in the world who have it a million times tougher than me, but right now I'm putting myself out there and asking for help.
