Hello, my name is Morgan and I am 36 years old and a single mom to four beautiful children. about six months ago, my children and I were doing our normal Saturday activities, and my now ex assaulted me in a very serious manner to the point. I almost lost my life, and it was a complete nightmare. My children witnessed it, and although we are trying to heal and counseling and all the things in the process of everything  we were at out of our home at the daily of my ex and not keeping his end of the deal through court. With that being said, my kids and I are currently staying from friends place to friends place and we are trying to get back on our feet and secure us a home as I just started work and I will not get a paycheck for at least three weeks because they will hold me back. I’ve never had this before, but I feel that so many women are scared to come on these platforms to ask for help when it’s truly needed because of the fear of being judged by others. I am speaking up about my situation because I went through every resource and they’re just not resources out there to be able to help in ways that it’s needed. This was the first time this happened. There was multiple times, but I finally got tired of it and knew what I had to do for myself and my family and that was to leave.. Even if it’s just words of encouragement or a simple prayer, it is greatly appreciated and will not go unnoticed! Thank you so much and God bless🙏
