  • Treatments Start This Week

This is one of the hardest updates I’ve had to write.
This week, Stephen begins both chemotherapy and radiation. Saying those words out loud still doesn’t feel real. Not long ago, we were living our normal life… and now everything revolves around treatments, appointments, and trying to hold onto every moment we can.
Glioblastoma is relentless. It doesn’t give you time to prepare it just changes everything overnight. While we’re grateful he’s able to start treatment, it’s also incredibly overwhelming knowing what he’s up against.
Stephen is stronger than I’ve ever see but this is heavy. For him, for me, for all of us who love him. We are doing everything we can to stay grounded, to keep fighting, and to make sure he feels surrounded by love every step of the way.
So many of you have asked how to help, and please know just asking means more than you realize. Right now, the biggest ways to support us are:
Prayers, positive thoughts, and sharing his story
Checking in messages truly lift his spirits
Helping spread the word about his benefit and fundraiser
If you feel led to do more, please reach out. We are navigating this one day at a time, and any support big or small means the world to our family.
Thank you for loving us, standing with us, and carrying us when this feels too heavy. 🤍

About this fundraiser

LIFE CAN CHANGE IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE……. For our family, that moment came with the words: “We are positive this is Stage 4 Glioblastoma.”
It’s incredibly hard to even write these words.
My brother-in-law, Stephen, has been diagnosed with this aggressive brain cancer, and everything has changed for him, my sister, and everyone who loves them.
Steohen is the kind of person who has always been there for others. Always willing to help where needed. the one who helps without being asked. Stephen has faught many battles and demons in his life and struggled with addiction. Although not a perfect person (none of us are) he is a Husband, Father, Son and so much more.  Now he is facing the fight of his life.
As they begin this difficult journey of treatments, appointments, and traveling for specialized care, we want them to be able to focus on what matters most,  his care, his comfort, and time together as a family.  Not the financial stress that comes with it.
i have created a fundraiser on behalf of Stephen and his wife Jennifer  to help with medical bills, travel for treatment, and everyday expenses during this incredibly difficult time and the unknown time to come.
If you are able to donate, it would mean so much. If not, please consider sharing this post and keeping them in your thoughts and prayers. The support, love, and prayers from our community mean more than words can say.
Thank you for standing with our family. ❤️
