  • Update CANCER SUCKS

Today we got answers… and they were the kind you pray you never have to hear. 💔

Stephen’s appointment with Dr. Somji confirmed the worst-case scenario. His pathology results show an aggressive form of brain cancer — a Grade 4 glioblastoma with the worst mutation he could have got..
There’s no easy way to say this, and no way to fully explain the weight of it. Our world feels like it’s been turned upside down in an instant. We walked into today hoping for clarity… but we are left carrying a reality that is incredibly heavy and heartbreaking.
Stephen is facing this with more strength and courage than I can even begin to describe. Even in the middle of fear and uncertainty, he is still him strong, loving, and fighting.
    8-12 Months
Right now, we are trying to process, to breathe, and to take this one moment at a time.We for certain know that we will face it together surrounded by a very supportive community and seeing exercise come together for us is so emotional
We are asking for prayers, for strength, for peace, and for hope however that may look. Please keep Stephen & Our Family close in your hearts. Your love and support mean everything to us right now.
For now, we’re just holding on to each other and plan to make ever lasting Memories with our kids that will last a lifetime ❤️

About this fundraiser

LIFE CAN CHANGE IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE……. For our family, that moment came with the words: “We are positive this is Stage 4 Glioblastoma.”
It’s incredibly hard to even write these words.
My brother-in-law, Stephen, has been diagnosed with this aggressive brain cancer, and everything has changed for him, my sister, and everyone who loves them.
Steohen is the kind of person who has always been there for others. Always willing to help where needed. the one who helps without being asked. Stephen has faught many battles and demons in his life and struggled with addiction. Although not a perfect person (none of us are) he is a Husband, Father, Son and so much more.  Now he is facing the fight of his life.
As they begin this difficult journey of treatments, appointments, and traveling for specialized care, we want them to be able to focus on what matters most,  his care, his comfort, and time together as a family.  Not the financial stress that comes with it.
i have created a fundraiser on behalf of Stephen and his wife Jennifer  to help with medical bills, travel for treatment, and everyday expenses during this incredibly difficult time and the unknown time to come.
If you are able to donate, it would mean so much. If not, please consider sharing this post and keeping them in your thoughts and prayers. The support, love, and prayers from our community mean more than words can say.
Thank you for standing with our family. ❤️
