. For people that don't understand mental illness I always use the analogy of if you had cancer wouldn't you have treatment. Same thing goes for mental illnesse. Also you can't get mad at people that don't understand it, it's not their fault if they haven't been through it. I always tell people if you could be in my mind for 5 minutes you'd be racing for the nearest gun, sometimes they realize how bad it is then.
