  • Transition to Rehabilition

Thank you all for your phenomenal support!

Salem has moved from the Level II Trauma Center to The Texas NeuroRehab Center in South Austin! This is a tremendous step in her healing process.

She is now getting 2-3 hours of physical and occupational therapy in a day, and up to 5 times a week. We are still monitoring the nerve damage and have yet to start working on any weight bearing on her hips and legs.

We know that there are a lot of teeth that will need caps or other work...but that is down the road. We are all just looking forward to when she is able to eat soft foods. Hopefully, that happens this week!

Please continue to pray, send thoughts, and forward the incredible message of her journey and healing. She is remarkably resilient!

About this fundraiser

Addison “Salem” Hossfeld, is a tremendous young woman who had a horrific accident on 01/07/2026 here in Georgetown, Tx.

The list of injuries are long: compound fractures on both legs, compound fractures on both arms, pelvis, 5 ribs, punctured lung, a neck fracture, and her jaw.

However, she is an incredibly resilient woman. In one week: 3 major surgeries, starting physical therapy, lung therapy, speech therapy, chest tube out, and the demonstration of INCREIBLE GRIT and DETERMINATION to LIVE HER BEST LIFE going forward.

As a single young woman with one income, any and all donations are appreciated.

This will include multiple months in the Surgical Trauma ICU, intensive in-patient physical therapy, and then the emotional/trauma therapy.

As we have seen her spirit in person, can you be #StrongAsSalem?

We hope so!
