  • Update: Welcome Baby Yaman!

We are so happy to share that Reem welcomed her baby boy, Yaman, in early March! 💙

His arrival was not without challenges. Reem faced serious health complications during delivery, and due to the conditions around her, she had to undergo an emergency C-section while already physically weakened. Baby Yaman also experienced respiratory issues at birth ❤️‍🩹

By God’s grace, Yaman is home and doing well. He is incredibly cute 🥰 and both mom and baby are safe and recovering.

Reem also shared this message as they mark the end of Ramadan and the beginning of Eid al-Fitr:

Their month of fasting has ended and Eid al-Fitr celebrations are underway 🙏🏻

Your kindness has helped make moments like this possible — for a mother to safely bring her child into the world and celebrate with her family, even in unimaginable circumstances.

I will be sending the most recent round of donations to Reem very soon. If you feel called to give, we kindly invite you to donate before the next transfer (end of this Month) so your support can reach her as soon as possible.

Thank you for continuing to stand with Reem and her family. Your compassion truly matters. 🤍🇵🇸

About this fundraiser

Hello. My name is Alecia and I have created this campaign for Reem and her family. I will ensure every donation reaches them successfully.

They are a family of  6 — Reem, her husband Ahmed, and their four beautiful children: Jana (18), Yassin (15), Hossam (14) and little Ryan (2).

Your generosity and support ensures their survival and provides them with a glimmer of hope. Please do what you can from where you are. They can't do this without us!  🕊️

Reem's Story:

My name is Reem Al-Ras, a mother of four from Gaza — and now pregnant with my fifth child. ❤️🙏🏻

My home has been reduced to rubble. My husband’s car — our only source of income — was destroyed. My children, instead of carrying school bags, now search for food. My daughter lost her chance at her final school year. Their childhood innocence has been stolen. 💔

Every night, my youngest cries for milk I cannot provide. The hardest part of this war is not the bombs — it’s watching my children go hungry and feeling helpless.

Now we face another impossible choice: we may be forced to evacuate to the south. But there is no safety there — only overcrowding, no shelter, soaring prices, and constant danger. Families who fled south return broken, with no place to live. Still, staying means living under strikes, displacement, and hunger.

I am not asking for the impossible — only for the chance to provide the basic necessities of life and a path to safety for my children. ❤️ 🕊️

🙏🏻 Please don’t ignore the voice of a mother crying out from under the rubble. 🙏🏻

❤️Your support is not just charity — it is survival. Every donation, every share, is a lifeline. ❤️

✨Stand with us. Help me keep my children alive.✨

Rayan was born on October 8th, just one day after the war started. The surrounding rubble is the only playground he has ever known 💔

From the rubble of my collapsed home, I bake bread for my children. My heart is broken, but my hands create life.

Forced to burn old clothes & shoes, just to try and feed our children 💔

In a sudden bombing, my son Yassin was so scared that he ran toward the fire. His hand, which was searching for safety, was burned. Every scar on his hand tells the story of a boy terrified by the sound of death.

Rayan deserves safety but instead his childhood is being stolen from him amid an endless siege 💔

The war on Gaza is not just the destruction of property; it is a direct attack on innocent souls like Rayan.
