Asking for help is such a hard thing to do, however when you’re as amazing as Seth and Krista are, you have people asking how they can help and this how. 
On September 6th 2023, Krista went into the ER just a few days after getting home from a once in a lifetime Alaskan cruise. She had shortness of breath and felt dizzy. Thankfully a coworker brought her to the ER and stayed with her until Seth got there around 9:30. They took her for a CT of her chest and brought her back. 20 mins later they came back to do another CT of her abdomen. Brought her back and started the waiting. Finally a Dr came to talk. They stated that her right lung was COMPLETELY full of fluid and that they would need to drain it as it is putting pressure on her other organs and actually shifted her heart over, they also told them that they found a large mass on her kidney and that was what was causing the fluid. They admitted her to the hospital and drained about 4 liters of fluid from her lungs. The mass is the size of a softball and originally they were told it was high hopes of being benign. They did a biopsy and the preliminary findings were non cancerous. She was discharged and sent home to have lots more appointments. They would find out that the mass on her kidney is indeed cancerous. Over the next week and countless appointments later it would come to light that the fluid in her lung did contain cancer cells despite what they were originally told. Surgery that was supposed to take place on 9/29 has now been postponed so that they can start her on IV immunotherapy as well as oral drugs while they wait for pet scans to determine the best route to go so they can remove as much cancer cells as possible. 
 

All funds from this will help Krista and Seth while she’s out of work and he is taking time off work when needed to help Krista rest and with her appointments.
