At 24 years old, my boyfriend Jeremiah and I are excited to move across the state, where he will work diligently to earn his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture.  Growing up in single-parent households and facing financial challenges, we never imagined we would have the opportunity to pursue higher education.
