Hello friends, family, and those kind of enough to help.
First thank you all from the bottom of our hearts to those who have helped in the beginning of my sister Sarah's journey with breast cancer. She has made some really good with progress with her current doctors as well as support and guidance from her holistic healing team. Her most recent update has shown a decrease in the cancer! As advised she will continue her treatments, both western and holistic for another 6 months.
Sarah has written a note to everyone which I am sharing here. We thank you again for all of your support!
Last February, my family helped create this page during one of the most uncertain seasons of my life. I still feel so much gratitude when I think about how many people showed up for me and my children in that time—through prayers, messages, and financial support. It truly carried us.
I wanted to share a meaningful update.
Over the past six months, I have continued walking through treatment in a way that feels deeply aligned for my body and my spirit. Recently, I had a follow-up PET scan, and I’m grateful to share that there has been no progression. That alone feels like a breath I can finally exhale into.
This journey has stretched me in every way—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. And somewhere in the midst of the hardest moments, something unexpected began to take shape: a quiet sense of purpose.
I’ve found myself not only healing, but also gathering insight, tools, and perspective that I feel called to share—especially for women navigating illness, motherhood, and high-stress life seasons. There is a kind of strength that’s born in these spaces, and I want to help other women access it.
As I move into this next phase of continued treatment and healing, I am also beginning to gently build something from this experience—something that can support others walking similar paths.
With that, I’m humbly opening this space again for support. The financial weight of ongoing care, holistic treatments, and day-to-day life as a mother of two little ones continues to be significant.
If you feel moved to give, share, or simply continue holding us in your thoughts and prayers, it means more than I can fully express.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Truly.
—Sarah
ORIGINAL POST:
With hearts full of hope and faith we reach out to you today.
Our sister, a devoted single mother of two young boys, has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive and hard-to-treat form of breast cancer. Still in her 30s, this news has turned her world, and the lives of her children, upside down.
The financial weight of this diagnosis is overwhelming with projected medical expenses expected to exceed $80,000. The cost of treatment is only part of the burden and our goal is to help her balance her healing process with the responsibilities of working and caring for her children. We want to help her with maintaining the peace of mind she needs to overcome this without the fear of falling behind so she can be there for her children and herself with strength and hope.
Through it all, our sister and our entire family remains steadfast in faith. She continues to praise God and lean on Him for strength. As she has said, “He restores my soul.” Psalm 23:3
Your support—whether through a donation, a prayer, or simply by sharing her story—means the world to us. Thank you for standing with our family and surrounding our sister with love and strength.
We will continue to share updates as she journeys toward restoration and recovery, holding fast in faith with the hope of healing and resilience.
