My dog is my world and I don’t know what life would be like without him and I hope I never find out. We got him at a pet adoption when he was eight weeks old, he will be 12 in October, he is a 16 pound miniature Shihpoo which is a Shih Tzu and poodle mix! His name is Boots, but we call him Bootsy, or Mr. Boots, or boo-boo, which I tend to do a lot! We recently found out after noticing some changes in his hind legs, which he loves to run on the beach, and apparently has caused a bulging disc, he is still currently on prednisone and gabapentin, and both veterinarian and our primary Banfield vet suggested surgery to correct the bulging disc since they said if we wait too long, it will get worse and they won’t be anything they can do which is really scary to think😳  we have pet insurance, but never needed it till now and realized that all the vet hospitals we have called so far do not accept direct billing from Pets Best insuranc, which is for people that do not have the money upfront. I also recently found out that most of the hospitals except Trupanion, which we do not have, we were able to save some money but want to thank you in advance for all your help my friends💖 Never thought vet bills can be so expensive which unfortunately will need to pay upfront at $14,000 which will cover the MRI, the surgery, hospital stay, and follow up doctor visits! I would be gratefully indebted to any help we can get and would appreciate it more than you can possibly imagine because we definitely want to give our baby boy the best life he can have as we would want for ourselves, so anything you can do to help make this possible would be gratefully appreciated🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 I am not one to ask for help since I’ve always been self-sufficient, but life has changed recently since moving back to California last year, and things have become very difficult work wise for me and I am not able to come up with that kind of money in such short period of time since he needs the surgery as soon as possible, thank you so much for taking the time to read my heartfelt request♥️🙏🏼♥️
